Many fans are bothered by the game’s lack of new content and the campaign also disappoints many players. But Season 1 of MW3 is scheduled to appear later this year and, in addition to new content and maps, also wants to bring back the popular Gunfight 2v2 game mode.
Call of Duty announced some new content for Season 1 on their own blog. An exact start date is not yet known, but the season is scheduled to start in December of this year. However, the announced content should only be a small part of the upcoming innovations.
New game modes are set to appear in Season 1 for MW3 and the first one is a fan favorite. Gunfight should return and offer you 2v2 action again. With this, well-known maps should return for the mode.
