CoD MW2: Season 5 Content
With the start of the season, 4 new maps will go online – two 6vs6 maps and two for gunfight mode:
Season 5 will start with a mode called “Havoc”, which is supposed to be reminiscent of arena shooters from the past. You collect power-ups that reload your ammo, reduce gravity or hit like a grenade when you jump from somewhere.
For the big ground wars comes a “Capture the Flag” mode for 2 teams with 20 players. There are also three different variations of Gunfight mode throughout the season:
The whole thing is rounded off with the “Faceoff” mode. Here, two teams of four fight on the small gunfight maps in 6vs6 modes – i.e. team deathmatch or kill confirmed. Killstreaks are disabled.
CoD Warzone: Season 5 content
What’s coming for Warzone? On the Vondel map, the champions quests are introduced for release. This is a nuke that ends the game and directly determines winners for the match. At the same time, three new elements for Champions Quests come into play:
Two new vehicles also come into play: The MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) is said to appear rarely, withstand a lot, but be slow. The dirt bike provides more action. However, the vehicles will only come in-season.
For the DMZ, four new items should come into play around the release:
New modes coming later in the season are Armored Royale along with the new truck MRAP and Fort Resurgence. In Fort mode, small parts of Al-Mazrah are played in revival mode.
In addition, we experience the revelation of the new Modern Warfare 3 in Warzone via an event. But more information is yet to come. Here is the first official picture of the event:

A small event shortly after the start of the season will provide you with more cosmetics: In the “Faction Showdown” the return of Graves and the Shadow Company will be discussed – that should be part of the CoD MW3 reveal event.
What new weapons are coming? A total of six weapons have been announced for Season 5:
What does the Battle Pass look like? For 1,100 CoD Points you can get the Battle Pass, which exchanges items for game time. Here is a general overview of what a Battle Pass from CoD includes:
Which operator is the focus? Graves comes with the Battle Pass. The character was one of the driving forces in the CoD MW2 campaign and is coming back into the story with Season 5.
