Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Mid-Season 1 is online. The patch notes are bursting with bug fixes. MeinMMO shows the highlights of the bug fixes, a short content overview and the most important balancing adjustments.

Call of Duty regularly brings a breath of fresh air to its current shooters on PC and console via season updates. Now the mid-season update of season 1 went online and came with a long list of patch notes.

    When is the update coming? The mid-season and update 1.12 are already online.

    How big is the update? That depends on your platform, sizes vary a bit. On the PlayStation, the update is almost 11 GB in size.

    What’s in the update? Here’s a quick overview of mid-season content:

    Actually, your Warzone 2 gameplay statistics should also be visible. However, the launch has been postponed indefinitely.

    CoD MW2 & Warzone 2: Update 1.12 – Patch Notes / Balancing

    There are 2 categories of balancing changes in the patch notes this time: weapon and general adjustments. We start with the list of weapon changes and give you an assessment of whether we see a buff or a nerf here:

  • Akimbo P890, X12, Basilisk and .50 GS – Nerf
  • less damage against armored enemies
  • MX9 – Buff
  • 32-round magazine has significantly more mobility
  • Kastov-74u – Nerf
  • Less damage in the first damage area
  • Kastov 545 – Buff
  • Higher bullet speed
  • Better hip fire
  • More damage in the first damage area
  • Higher chest multiplier
  • VEL 47 – Buff
  • Better hip fire
  • Higher movement speed
  • Increased damage at range
  • .50GS
  • Better hip fire
  • Increased range for headshots
  • Generally increased range
  • Improved neck and shoulder multiplier
  • Higher bullet speed
  • Shotguns in general – Nerf
  • Shotguns can no longer one-shot a player with full armor
  • Deployment Shield – Nerf
  • Less movement speed
  • Reduced melee damage
  • Animations improved
  • it takes longer to use a throwing knife
  • The other balance adjustments relate to equipment, vehicles or field upgrades. Here we show you a few of the highlights:

  • Field Upgrade – Portable Radar
  • Can now be attached to vehicles

  • In general, the UTV can withstand more

  • The nasty dark pro skin of the LA Thieves has been nerfed and now has more red elements

  • Damage per bullet reduced by 26%
  • 50% fewer enemies at some POIs
  • Time between AI waves increased by 50%
  • AI wave enemy crowd reduced by 30%
  • AIs in the Black Sites have more armor

    CoD MW2 & Warzone 2: Update 1.12 – Patch Notes / Bug Fixes

    Let’s move on to the bug fixes. Call of Duty has probably never brought such a long list of bug fixes. When counting, we came up with over 120 bug fixes that are in update 1.12. We show you a few of the highlights:

  • Fixed attachments that could not be unlocked and/or had incorrect displays
  • The social menu should now work better
  • Fixed bug in showcase area
  • Fixed issues with the Killstreak Juggernaut
  • Fixed issues with the jamming mine
  • Thermite no longer sticks to the newly spawned player after a kill
  • Wrong gauges in Weaponsmith fixed
  • Game could freeze on space A15 of Battle Pass
  • Fixed issues with Dolby Atmos
  • Fixed UAV in hardcore mode Tier 1
  • Shoot House is back in the private player of MW2
  • Fixed issues in Spec-Ops co-op mode
  • General light and shadow improvements on Al Mazrah
  • You will now see the nameplates in Warzone 2 when spectating others
  • Fixed many broken spots on the Al Mazrah map
  • Fixed broken weapons on Warzone 2 train
  • That was just a small selection of the bug fixes in Mid-Season 1. The number of bug fixes is almost beyond any scope. If you want to go deeper, take a look at the English patch notes (via callofduty.com).

    There were also a few minor Quality of Life adjustments, such as looting and using the Buy Stations.
