What are “Twitch Drops”? These are promotional campaigns between game developers and Twitch. By watching selected streamers during a promotion, you can earn in-game items. The longer you watch, the more items there are for you.
From October 28th to November 6th, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is running such a campaign. You can secure a total of 5 items – from stickers to weapon blueprints, everything is included.

How do Twitch Drops work for CoD: MW2?
First you need a Twitch account. Follow the link to create an account if you don’t already have one. After that, the further procedure differs depending on whether you have an Activision account or a Battle.net account:
Activision Account – First you need to create an Activision account. You can then connect your Activision account to your Twitch account.
Battle.net Account – If you don’t already have a Battle.net account, you can do so via this link: Create a Battle.net Account. You then need to link your Battle.net account to your Twitch account.

What’s next? Once you have successfully linked your account, you are ready to participate in the Twitch Drops.
To do this, visit the Twitch.tv website and use search to navigate to streamers who regularly play Call of Duty. Watch out for hints in the chat that drops are active with these streamers. Streamers often write this in the title of their streams.
Then all you have to do is watch them play Call of Duty for a while. You should get a message that the stream is allowed for Twitch drops. If you have watched long enough, there will be a message that you have earned an item. After an hour you have earned all the rewards.
Sometimes it may take a while before you can access the rewards in game. Just be patient, the items usually appear after a few minutes.
