The release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is over, but many of us are still sitting at work waiting for the end of the day. MeinMMO keeps an eye on the server status and shows known problems that players had after the release – sometimes even with a solution.
This is how the servers are:
At each test, we launch the game, find a match, and have a look at the ping, which we compare to our usual values.
What problems are players reporting? Below we list a few more issues that players have reported since release. If there is a solution or developer response to this, we’ll include that as well.
The developers state that they are working on an issue with game crashes when playing in a party (via twitter.com). There are reports that it helps if you completely assemble your team first and then start matchmaking.
Problems on the PlayStation consoles are also known that the game can stop in the middle of the match if you go to the menu. A fix is also being worked on here.
Shortly after the release, there were many reports that the additional content from special editions could not be found. A “restart” is recommended as a solution, otherwise all you can do at the moment is wait for a fix.
For the Oni operator on the PlayStation you can “renew licenses” in your account settings.
If you can’t log in to PlayStation and used the New Zealand trick prior to release, the developers recommend reinstalling (via twitter.com).
The developers report audio glitches on the PlayStation 4. They are working on it (via twitter.com).
Do you have any gambling problems yourself? Leave a comment – we’ll expand our list and see if there are any known fixes.
