The Call of Duty of 2022 is called Modern Warfare 2 and the release is scheduled for October 28th. There is now some information about the new shooter and MeinMMO shows in the quick overview what is officially known and what major leaks there are already.
A new year, a new Call of Duty. It has been like this for more than 15 years now. In 2022, Modern Warfare 2 will be the sequel to the most successful CoD paid title to date: CoD MW 2019, which in turn was a reboot of the popular “Modern Warfare” setting from CoD 2007.
Not all the details of Modern Warfare 2 have been clarified yet, not even all major game modes have been properly presented. But what is already officially known and why leaks assume that the annual CoD tradition is over, we will show you on MeinMMO.

CoD MW2 provides you with a direct sequel to CoD MW 2019. The story continues and well-known characters from the “Modern Warfare” universe reappear.
The Battle Royale, Call of Duty: Warzone, even connected the stories of the two great CoD universes – Cold War and Modern Warfare. Even zombies are now somehow part of it, so they could theoretically also appear in the CoD MW2 campaign … theoretically.
