In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, just like in previous parts, a hardcore multiplayer mode is to be implemented. It’s called “Tier 1” this time, but it’s nowhere to be found in the selectable modes. We’ll tell you what exactly that mode is and if it’s going to be released at all.

Which mode is missing? There are a variety of modes in CoD that have been created and implemented over many years. Many of the modes can be played with a special rule set – with hardcore rules.

As the name suggests, this mode is actually not for the faint of heart, but players will not find any hardcore modes in CoD Modern Warfare 2. We will show you all the important clues about where hardcore mode is.

According to the developer, Tier 1 will be released soon. However, no exact date was given, only to point out that Tier 1 is not yet in the game.

Back in CoD MW 2019, the hardcore modes came a week after release. For now, it remains to be seen whether hardcore mode will be released with Season 1 or in the coming weeks.

What is Tier 1 mode? CoD Modern Warfare 2 has given the hardcore mode a new name and is now called “Tier 1”.

In Tier 1, players are thrown onto a map with “realistic” conditions. You will have to deal with a reduced HUD, reduced health, and team fire when you activate this mode.

Players with a shaky trigger finger will find it difficult to avoid making mistakes and accidentally shooting a teammate.

Basically, “Tier 1” offers a fresh change, since strong reflexes and tactics can help you to victory here. Carelessness will be punished and can bring you to your grave so quickly.

What do you think of CoD MW2? Do you think it’s a shame that Tier 1 isn’t in the game yet and how do you like the multiplayer? Let’s find out in the comments!
