In recent weeks, the United States received information about the Iranian state’s plan to assassinate the former president of the United States Donald Trump. CNN reported on the matterwhich says its information is based on “people who have been informed about the matter”.
The United States received information about the assassination plan from a “human source”.
According to the CNN story, last Saturday’s assassination attempt is not supposed to be related in any way to the alleged Iranian assassination plans.
After hearing a tip about Iran, the US Secret Service increased Trump’s security measures in recent weeks. CNN writes that this raises more and more questions about how the gunman was able to shoot the former president at Saturday’s campaign event.
