Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu has in principle accepted the ceasefire agreement with the extremist organization Hezbollah in the security negotiations held on Sunday evening, says a source familiar with the matter, news channel for CNN.
According to the source, however, Israel still has reservations about some of the details of the agreement, which are still being negotiated. According to CNN, multiple sources emphasized that the deal is not final until all issues are resolved.
A possible ceasefire agreement also requires the approval of the Israeli government.
