Cluster of cyclists hit by a car in Nora municipality

A car has driven into a group of cyclists on a minor road in Nora municipality.
Two people have been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
– We handle it as an accident, says officer on duty Ola Olsson to TV4 Nyheterna.

A car driver has driven into a group of cyclists on a minor road in Nora municipality, something like P4 Örebro was the first to report.

– We received the alarm from SOS at 10.21 that a car had collided with a bicycle cluster. Initially we found out that there were up to 20 cyclists, says duty officer Ola Olsson to TV4 Nyheterna.

An ambulance and rescue services were also called to the scene.

– There are two people who are seriously injured, they are taken to hospital by ambulance, says Ola Olsson.

Police: “Accident”

– There are several who have scratches and the like. I don’t know how many were involved in the accident and how many have had to give way to the car, says Ola Olsson.

At the moment, the police do not suspect any crime.

– We handle it as an accident. If there are suspicions of crime, we have to make headlines about it, he says.

According to SOS alarm, the passenger car must have traveled at approximately 70 kilometers per hour, reports Aftonbladet.
