Hutchings and Vejdemo are suspended for two games each after two incidents in Easter Eve’s fourth semi-final in Stockholm when Djurgården won 5-4.
Hutchings went on the home team’s goalkeeper Matthew Galajda, who had to leave injured and was penalized for goalkeeper interference. Vejdemo put the club in the chest of the away team’s Fredric Weigel and is penalized for spearing.
Alex Hutchings is also fined SEK 6,875.
The next semi-final meeting between Björklöven and Djurgården, which is 2-2 in the best of seven games, will be played in Umeå on Easter Monday. Modo is already ready for the hockey Allsvenskan final where the winner plays in the SHL next season.
