At Coop in Fårbo outside Oskarshamn, customers were forced to turn away at the door today. The grocery store had closed due to power outages that have come and gone over the past few days — many without power overnight into Saturday.
– I lose income. But that is less important. The important thing is that customers should be able to get food, says Matthias Viberg at Coop in Fårbo.
The heavy snowfall has led to power outages at several plastics in Sweden in recent days. Electricity company Eon’s customers in Kalmar County have been particularly affected – at most 10,000 were without electricity.
