Clint Eastwood’s best film, in which he makes a fool of his real (!) son

Clint Eastwoods best film in which he makes a fool

One of the best Cint Eastwood films comes to TV on Wednesday. If not the best: The actor not only appears in Gran Torino, he also directs it. As an aside, he even insults his own son in one scene. So his real son, who is also an actor, not his character’s son.

That’s what Gran Torino by and with Clint Eastwood is about

Actually he wants to extremely grumpy and quite racist pensioners
Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood) just sits quietly on his porch and drinks beer. But now the only people living in his neighborhood are people he doesn’t like and then someone wants to steal his beloved Gran Torino.

When it turns out who tried to steal his car, the beginning of a wonderful friendship begins: The neighbor boy Thao (Bee Vang) is taken under his wing by the reluctant and grumpy old man. Over time, Walt even gets involved with the area’s criminal gangs and becomes something of a hero in his neighborhood, even though he doesn’t want to.

In a Gran Torino scene, Clint Eastwood insults his own son

A particularly impressive scene in the film shows three men harassing a couple. Because the unpleasant contemporaries are apparently on the verge of getting violent and harassing the woman (Thao’s sister Sue (Ahney Her)), Walt Kowalski has no choice but to get involved to defuse the situation – in his own way.

This means that he first explains to the three villains that he is one of those people who it is better not to mess with. Because they are neither impressed by this nor by his finger gun, he ultimately pulls out a real weapon. For which he is celebrated by the male part of the couple, which in turn doesn’t impress Walt. He shouts at the coward that he is a wimp and should keep his mouth shut.

The strange thing is that the actor who plays the “wimp” Trey is Clint Eastwood’s real-life son. He’s called Scott Eastwood and in this scene he has to listen to a real tirade of hatred from his own father about why he wants to be the bro of these gangsters.
