The 40-year-old Mathieu M. was in therapy in a clinic in Assen because he made a mistake earlier and, among other things, harassed an internship supervisor. But he fell back into his old habits of creating fake accounts in the name of therapists, security guards, and sports coaches at the forensic psychiatric clinic. Other victims of the man worked in a clinic in Eindhoven where he was previously treated. The man lived alternately in a clinic, in a sheltered housing project and with his parents in Houten, where he was born and raised.
