The government abolishes the climate bonus for cars. The decision applies from Wednesday and is justified by the fact that there is no longer reason to provide financial support for certain car purchases.
This is what the government writes on its website: “The cost of owning and driving a climate bonus car is starting to be comparable to the cost of owning and driving a petrol or diesel car. State market introduction support is therefore no longer justified.
According to the press release, half of new car sales consist of cars that can be classified as “climate bonus cars”
