With one month to go until the EU elections, climate and the environment top the voters’ list of the most important issues.
This is shown by a new survey carried out by Indikator opinion for Ekot.
In second place are defense and foreign policy, something that does not usually rank so high, but which may be due to the deteriorating security situation, according to Per Oleskog Tryggvason, head of opinion at Indikator.
– This year we have a very special situation with a very uneasy security policy situation and much of the discussion is about support for Ukraine and Russia’s war of aggression, says Tryggvason to Ekot.
In the voters’ third place is the economy and the labor market, followed by immigration and migration and the EU’s democracy. First in sixth and seventh place come healthcare and crime.
