A group of young climate activists threatens to sue the Swedish state for lack of climate policy. The group demands information from the Minister of Climate and Environment before Wednesday – otherwise they plan to start a legal process.
The Aurora network, which was formed with the aim of suing the state, believes that the shortcomings threaten human rights. The group has submitted several demands for changes in environmental and climate policy to the government.
The requirements include new and stricter climate targets as well as requirements that all carbon dioxide emissions must be included.
