According to the climate movements, Rabobank has been investing billions of euros for years in financing mega stables, fertilizer, agricultural poisons and the soy industry, among other things. “In the Netherlands it is the largest financier of industrial agriculture and the bank also has a devastating influence worldwide: the bank is the second largest foreign financier of deforestation in Brazil. The result is global destruction of nature, animal suffering and human rights violations.” Greenpeace writes in a press release.
