Extinction Rebellion demonstrators blocked the Westplein in Utrecht this afternoon, after previously occupying the busy Daalsesingel. The police were deployed to direct traffic. This allowed motorists to slowly resume their journey. At the beginning of the afternoon, hundreds of demonstrators attended the climate demonstration.
