The police have arrested five people suspected of illegal trespassing and vandalism at Ekebymossen outside Kumla.
Four men and one woman who were born between the 70s and 00s were arrested on Monday afternoon and will now be questioned. The people have been inside the company’s premises, which is illegal.
The Ekeby bog consists of peat bog and it is still unclear what type of damage has been done at the site.
Both staff and police asked the people to leave the place and informed them that they are committing a crime by being there, but the people stayed.
There have been activists on this bog several times recently, according to the police in Bergslagen.
