Tampere Classic won the second final of the men’s floorball F-League, when it beat Espoo Oliers 4–3. Classic leads the final series 2–0 and both finals have been decided by a goal difference. Four wins are required for the championship.

Classic took the lead after just over a minute of play Eemeli Salini on the finish line. Salin also finished the home team’s second goal in the second period. He already has 13 goals in the playoffs. Aaro Helin already increased Classic’s lead to 3–0.

The Oilers started in the third period. With the goal of the Classic Lassi Toriseva was in a great defensive mood, but right at the beginning of the third period he was surprised when Tuomas Iiskolan a shot from far hit the goal. The Oilers came out on top Santeri Lindforsin by hitting

Ville Lastikka took Classic to a two-goal lead again. Eetu Sorvali narrowed down to Numbers 4–3, but the Oilers could no longer reach the levels.

– You have to play one match at a time. The victory came, but this left a lot to improve in terms of gameplay. We got off to a good start and took the lead, but Toriseva kept the opponent at zero for a long time, said Salin.

– I can’t say what exactly went wrong in that third set. The Oilers got their opening goal quite unexpectedly from a distance, and the game got messed up for a while, Salin admitted.

The team that won all six championships from 2016 to 2022 was missing from the Classic line-up Eetu Sikkinen. The reason was not known in the evening.

The third match will be played on Friday in Espoo and the fourth on Saturday in Lempäälä.

If the championship is not decided in four matches, the Fifth will be played at the Helsinki Ice Hall and a possible sixth match will be played at the same place. The seventh would be played at the Hakametsä ice hall on April 28.
