CKRecreation kicks off Summer Fest Series

CKRecreation is excited to announce that it will be kicking off a series of free events all summer long.

Bring your family together for fun, free, community activities, states a media release.

Activities include:

Thursday Party in the Park: Join CK Rec and community partners from 5 pm to 8 pm for crafts, activities, giveaways, and Play Rangers. There is also a free swim from 7 pm to 8 pm to end the night. Upcoming events are planned for:
July 14 – Memorial Park, Tilbury
July 21 – Memorial Park, Blenheim
July 28 – Wallaceburg District Secondary School
August 4 – Ferguson Park, Thamesville
August 11 – Kinsmen Park, Dresden
August 18 – Victoria Park, Bothwell
August 25 – Kingston Park, Chatham

Friday Movie in the Park: Set up your lawn chairs, blankets and kick back to watch a movie under the stars. Movies start at dusk. Upcoming events are planned for:
July 15 – Kingston Park, Chatham
July 22 – Ferguson Park, Thamesville
July 29 – Wheatley Arena Complex
August 5 – Kiwanis Park, Ridgetown
August 12 – Crother’s Park, Wallaceburg
August 19 – Memorial Park, Tilbury
August 26 – Memorial Park, Blenheim

Saturday and Sunday Beach Days: Join CK Rec in Erieau and Mitchell’s Bay from 11a.m. to 4 pm every weekend Come see all the beach toys, games and giveaways. Or enjoy Play Rangers in Kingston Park, Chatham every weekend.

Did we mention free swimming all summer long? Visit any municipal pool this summer for a free rec swim!
