About ten people were injured when areas near the town of Chaman in Baluchistan were shelled. Pakistan’s military claims it responded to the fire but avoided targeting civilians.
“Pakistan also approached the Afghan authorities in Kabul to raise the issue of the difficult situation in the area,” Pakistan’s military announced.
According to some reports, the clashes may have been triggered by Afghan forces trying to cut holes in a border fence.
From the Afghan side, it is announced that one Taliban was killed and ten wounded in the clash.
