CiviBank record profit of 141 million euros in 2021

(Finance) – CiviBank closed 2021 with a net profit of € 14.1 million, an increase of 108.2% compared to the previous year, which represents the best result in the bank’s 135-year history (after 2015 when there was the extraordinary profit of the ICBPI sale). THE new loans to businesses and households of the territory amounted to 773 million euros (+ 16.9% y / y), while the assets administered by Civibank rose to 7,844 million euros (equal to 22% of the GDP of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region).

As of December 31, 2021 i loans to customers amounted to 3,280 million euros, an increase of 10.1% compared to 31 December 2020 (2,978 million euros). The interest margin it stands at 76.5 million euros, an increase of 20.1%. The net commissions amounted to 36.2 million euros, up by 15.8%.

At the end of period i impaired loans (NPE), net of value adjustments, totaled € 126 million, down 12.5% ​​compared to December 2020, with a coverage ratio of 51.1%. The CET1 ratio rises to 16.4%, also due to the capital strengthening operation concluded in the second half of 2021.

There direct fundingalready represented net of the component referring to central counterparties, records an amount of 3,320 million euros, an increase of 8.1% compared to 31 December 2020. indirect fundingamounted to 1,245 million euros, up by 7.1% compared to 31 December 2020. The amount of assets under management was 1,049 million euros, up 11.2% compared to 31 December 2020.
