City of Brantford Partners with Local Artists to Offer Seniors Art Series

Older adults are invited to show their talent through the first senior art series.

Offered by the City of Brantford, in Collaboration with Local Artists, the Series Offers Those Aged 55 and Up an Opportunity to Hands-On, Creative Expression.

The Series Features Four Free Programs Designed to Encourage Seniors to Explore Their Creative Side Through Various Art Forms.

All Materials are provided and no experience is required to participate.

  • Learn about the significance of Woodland Woman Paintings and Make Your Own at Creating A Masterpiece on Thursday, Feb. 27 from Noon to 2 PM at Woodland Park Community Center.
  • Watercolour Bookmarks will be held on world, March 3 from 10 am to 11:30 am at Woodland Park Community Center.
  • Take Part in Gentle Fitness Moves, Line Dancing and Enhance Your Movement Skills While Singing Along to Hits from Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, Neil Diamond, The Beatles, Ccr and Popular Movie Tunes at Croonercize on Wednesday, March 5 from 2 pm to 3 pm At TB Costain – SC Johnson Community Center, 16 Morrell St.
