The City of Brantford is hosting a series of social insurance number card clinics in partnership with Service Canada.
The New Canadian SIN card clinics are for new Canadians living in Brantford within the last 10 years. The YOUth clinic is available for those aged 11 to 26 living in Brantford.
“The clinics are an opportunity for people to apply and ask questions about getting a SIN card, which is required to work in Canada,” said Rosemary Whitehouse, the city’s manager of community partnerships.
New Canadian clinics are available at St. Leonard’s Community Services, 133 Elgin St., on Thursday from 9 am to noon and Nov. 29 from 1 pm to 4 pm
They are also available at the Brantford Public Library, 173 Colborne St., on Dec. 6 from 4 pm to 7 pm and Dec. 16 from 1 pm to 4 pm
