The new version, which was included in the product range with the name Citroen C5 Aircross Hybrid 136, brings significant changes compared to the pure gasoline it replaces.
C5 Aircross, Citroen’s successful representative in the C SUV segment, continues to be updated with electrification touches in the new period. The 1.2-liter petrol engine, which is positioned at the entry level of the product range, where the 180 and 225 hp rechargeable hybrid versions have a very serious sales share of 40 percent, will now continue on the road with electric support. One of the important differences for the Citroen C5 Aircross Hybrid 136, which brings a 15 percent improvement in carbon emissions compared to the version it replaces, will be the new dual clutch transmission. The new transmission, called “e-DCS6” within the group, will continue to replace EAT8 in other group members.

Technical details for the Citroen C5 Aircross Hybrid 136
The hybrid system in the version, which will be launched with 136 horsepower and 230 Nm torque, is based on 48V architecture. The electric motor, which has the ability to move the vehicle completely electrically in low-speed parking maneuvers, produces 28 horsepower and 55 Nm of torque in itself. The battery, located under the driver’s seat, is integrated into the system with a capacity of 432 Wh. Thanks to this battery, which is filled while the vehicle is braking and in swing mode, we will have the chance to see better values in the consumption value. The transmission brought by the new engine combination, which draws attention with its new part ratio of up to 40 percent during the development phase, also claims to be better as experience. We see that the transition rates of the six-stage dual-clutch unit, specially developed for the hybrid package, are preferred to be shorter.
