Cipess gives green light to POC reprogramming allocation over 195

(Finance) – The CIPESS – Interministerial Committee for Economic Planning and Sustainable Development (CIPESS), chaired by the Minister of Economy and Finance Giancarlo Giorgettiapproved the proposal reprogramming of the POCComplementary Operational Program to the National Operational Program “Culture and Development”.

The rescheduling request consists ofincrease in endowment of over 32 million eurosderiving from the reimbursement of the financing quotas of the expenses declared in the payment applications of the “Culture and Development” PON until March 2023. The increased financial allocation brings the total POC allocation at over 195 million of Euro.

The Committee also heard information regarding the Extraordinary plan for the safety of school buildings, of the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, in agreement with the Minister of Education and Merit. The latest report indicates that the total financing updated is approx 442.6 million of euros and what results works completed for approximately 317.9 million of euros (equal to 71.8%), and interventions activated for approximately 429.7 million euros (for 97.1% of the total).

Also heard a briefing from the Secretary of CIPESS on Annual report of the consultancy unit for the implementation and regulation of public utility services (NARS) in 2022. The Unit is coordinated by the Head of Department of the DIPE and is made up of representatives of the competent pro-tempore Ministries and of the Permanent Conference for relations between the State, the Regions and the autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano. It works to support CIPESS and public administrations.
