Cinemas Are Showing New Leonardo DiCaprio Movie Wrongly and Now There’s a Lawsuit Threatening (It’s Completely Bizarre)

The new Martin Scorsese epic Killers of the Flower Moon once again breaks running time standards after The Irishman. The elegiac mix of biopic, drama and crime thriller lasts almost three and a half hours and comes with star power in the form of long-time Scorsese companions such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro.

The director has made it clear that his XXL epic should be experienced in one go without interruption. But some cinemas don’t want to stick to it and show it Killers of the Flower Moon with a break in the program. This should actually lead to legal consequences.

Scorsese editor denounces cinema break as a breach of contract

As reported by Variety, among others, at least two European cinema chains, including UCI, and the American cinema The Lyric showed Scorsese’s latest film with an intermission depending on the cinema between six and fifteen minutes was.
