After Félicité, her beautiful portrait of a courageous mother in Kinshasa, the Franco-Senegalese director Alain Gomis returns with a documentary which will be released in theaters this Wednesday in France. Entitled Rewind and play, it is a film that goes back to the unpublished archives of a French television program from 1969 with the great black American jazz pianist Thelonious Monk as main guest.
