A cinema outing this Thursday in our culture meeting. The film entitled La Sirène, which was released in theaters in France after being shown at the Berlin festival and then at that of Annecy, returns to a significant episode of the Iran-Iraq war. The dissident filmmaker, Sepideh Farsi, chose the medium of animation for this story centered on the civil resistance of a 14-year-old teenager.
