On Wednesday July 13 comes the release of Nights of Mashhad, by Danish filmmaker of Iranian origin Ali Abbasi. Its main actress, Zar Amir Ebrahimi received the prize for female interpretation at the Cannes Film Festival. In the film, she plays a pugnacious journalist, who tries to identify a murderer of prostitutes.
