Being the star of the new Harry Potter series is probably a curse and a blessing at the same time. On the one hand, it is one of the largest streaming projects in the next few years, on the other hand, the production also includes incredibly high fan expectations. The occupation of the fantasy epic has not yet been determined, but there are rumors. Cillian Murphy, for example, is traded as a Voldemort. Or as Quirinus Quirrell, as a new report suggests.

Quirinus Quirrell is one of the teachers at Hogwart’s magic school that Harry teach in his first school year. He was played in the cinema by Ian Hart. His subject is defense against the dark arts. However, as it turns out in the course of the first book and the first cinema adaptation Harry Potter and the stone of the wise men, Quirrell harbors a dark secret.

Quirrell only turns out to be a villain in the final of the first book: as a henchman Voldemort, he has taken up his still weakened gentleman in his body, which is particularly revealed by his back of his head: he hides under a turban Voldemort’s face that grows out of his skin there.
The rumor goes back to the scooper Daniel Ritchman, which was taken up by Comic Book Movie. As the article itself suggests, Quirrell as a role seems to be quite small for a celebrated Oscar actor like Murphy, who was seen in Oppenheimer, among others.
The Harry Potter series could differ from the path of the movies and give Voldemort Murphys to look after leaving the body from its actual role Quirrell. So far, the occupation theory is no more than an unconfirmed rumor.
When does the Harry Potter series come to us?
An official start date for the Harry Potter series there is no yet. We think a US start date 2027 is likely. When and where the series comes to us is difficult to assess. The HBO production could previously land at Sky or Wow, just like Game of Thrones.
