(Finance) – Le hours Of redundancy fund a total of authorized in the month of January were about 42 million, 9% less than in the previous month of December (46.2 million) and 50.2% less than in January 2022, during which 84.4 million hours were authorized. This is what emerges from the CIG Observatory published by INPS. As for the singles types of intervention, the hours of ordinary layoffs authorized in January 2023 were 16.7 million. In December 2022, 20.1 million hours had been authorized: as a result, the cyclical change is -17.1%. In January 2022, the authorized hours had been 26 million.

The number of hours of extraordinary redundancy fund authorized in January 2023 is 23.5 million, of which 8.5 million for solidarity, with an increase of 46.4% compared to the amount authorized in the same month of the previous year (16 million hours). The number of hours authorized in January in solidarity funds is equal to 1.8 million and records a decrease of 30.8% compared to the previous month. In January 2022, there were 22.1 million authorized hours, with a trend variation of -91.9%.
