Choreographer and performer Leila Ka, 31, is one of the most promising young figures in contemporary dance. Revealed in 2018 with her solo, Pod ser, awarded five times internationally and performed more than 70 times since its creation, the artist, originally trained in hip hop, mixes influences from urban and contemporary dances in his creations. She returns with her last piece, Maldonne, presented at the opening of the Suresnes Cités Danse festival, in which she addresses one of her favorite subjects: the desire for freedom and emancipation of women. We listen to it on Camille Parsi’s microphone
