Chinese challenger start flying passengers

The first commercial flight of China’s first major domestically produced passenger plane will take place on Sunday. This is evident from the tour list of China Eastern Airlines, which is the country’s first buyer of the C919 type plane, the news agency writes Reuters.

The plane will fly from Shanghai to Beijing with flight number MU9191.

The commercial introduction of the C919 is a milestone in China’s hope to break the duopoly that European Airbus and American Boeing have long represented in the market.
