China is now expanding its import ban from Taiwan, including citrus fruits and varieties of fish.
On Tuesday, Taiwan’s official Central News Agency announced that at least 2,066 companies registered under the food category with China’s customs have been flagged for import suspension.
On the night of Wednesday, China’s customs office states that the country will also stop the import of, among other things, citrus fruits, chilled white-streaked hairtail (fish) and frozen horse mackerel from Taiwan as of Wednesday.
