According to the countries’ state news agencies, the Chinese president Xi Jinping sent to the North Korean leader on Sunday to Kim Jong-un a message in which he hoped “the friendly cooperation between the countries will deepen”. Kim responded to the message by stating that North Korea is still working to develop and stabilize cooperation with China.
The reason for the messages leaked on Sunday was the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
