Chinese military has today continued the exercises in the areas around Taiwan.
Several Chinese warships and warplanes have today crossed the midpoint of the strait between Taiwan and Mainland China. Something that Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense calls “very provocative”.
The exercises, in turn, are described as a reaction to Pelosi’s stopover in Taiwan this week, during an Asian tour.
– We want to send a warning to the United States: Do nothing hastily and do not worsen the crisis, said Wang YI, who is the foreign minister of China, during a press conference on Friday.
