It was when a group of children was to be transferred to another nearby preschool at the last moment before closing, that the child was accidentally left alone.
In connection with the children being counted in the preschool, it was discovered that the number did not match. One of the staff made his way back towards the ward and then met the child who had been cared for by a passerby.
“Shouldn’t happen”
According to the municipality, it must have been a matter of a shorter time.
– We take seriously what has happened. This should not be allowed to happen in our preschools. As a guardian, you should always be able to feel safe leaving your child, says Anette Rang, operations manager of the preschool in a press release.
– In this case, it was the human factor that was the cause. We will now review our routines,
A risk assessment based on the incident will be carried out at the individual preschool.
