More and more parents in northwestern Gothenburg testify that their children threaten them with reports of concern to social services.
Why?
They want a new jacket, or a higher weekly allowance.
Children blackmail their parents by reporting to social services
The social worker Betta Ryvald tell to Swedens radio that some parents find it difficult to set limits, as they are worried about being reported to the social services if the child does not get what it wants and thereby blackmailing its mother and father.
The extortions and the parents’ fear have become so high that the social services launched a disinformation campaign, something News24 reported on here.
