A road accident occurred this Monday, February 17 in the morning, in Ain. The school bus involved transported 46 students from the Pont-de-Veyle college.
This morning, in the Ain, a school bus suddenly deported to the aisle of the road. On board, 46 college students went to the Pont-de-Veyle college. He also transported certain CM2 students, who came to visit the establishment that day. The accident, with the still unknown circumstances, took place on the morning of February 17 – at 7:55 am precisely – on the Combes road, in Laiz, reports France 3 Auvergne Rhône-Alpes.
At the raised foot, the Departmental Operational Center (COD) has been activated. This crisis management tool mobilizing civil security, the police, the gendarmerie and the representatives of the communities is chaired by the prefect of the department, Chantal Mauchet, who must still go there. As part of this intervention, the gendarmerie, the Samu staff and the firefighters came to lend a hand.
In total, “four children with light injuries were taken care of by the emergency services,” said the Ain prefecture in a statement. The other young people were sent to the multipurpose room of Laiz, made available by the municipality. In the middle of the morning, they were always “welcomed and accompanied by a medico-psychological emergency unit”.
