Residents of the municipality of Vijfheerenlanden can hand in their Christmas trees at eighteen locations next Friday. They receive 50 cents for each entire Christmas tree returned without decorations, pots or nails. There is a maximum of 50 trees at a time.
If you want to enjoy the Christmas tree a little longer, you can go to the recycling center later. Until January 13th you will receive 50 cents per Christmas tree.
Utrechtse Heuvelrug has different collection days per village. Tuesday January 9: Driebergen-Rijsenburg, Wednesday January 10: Amerongen and Overberg, Thursday January 11: Doorn, Friday January 12: Leersum, Maarn and Maarsbergen.
Wijk bij Duurstede has an extra collection day on January 8 and Stichtse Vecht on January 4 and 5. In Renswoude this is the case on January 9.
