As SVT previously reported, the child rape took place during the summer of 2022 in a park in central Örebro.
The 27-year-old man is convicted of rape against a child and must pay SEK 290,000 in damages. The other man, aged 26, is convicted of sexual molestation and must pay SEK 10,000 to the child.
In the judgment, it appears that the information provided by the child is reliable “There are no obvious contradictions or difficult-to-explain elements in her information”
It also appears that the 27-year-old man repeatedly changed his information after he was confronted with evidence, and therefore the district court considers it an afterthought.
