Child locked in Postnord locker: “Had to break it open”

A nine-year-old child stepped into one of Postnord’s delivery lockers and was locked outside an ICA store in Uppsala.

It must have happened just after nine on Thursday evening, writes The evening paper. The child must have been locked up for ten minutes.

– It was not possible to open the cabinet, so we had to break it open, says Tobias Åkessoncommanding officer at rescue center Mitt, to the newspaper and continues:

– It was a bit new, there are usually quite small gaps in such cupboards, so it’s not that common. Either there was a larger box in the cupboard, or it was a small child.
