Child injured after aggressive drivers cause two vehicles to roll

A six-year-old child was taken to hospital after aggressive driving by a motorcycle and a car resulted in two other vehicles leaving the roadway and rolling over.

Brant OPP, firefighters, and paramedics were dispatched to Highway 403 near Sunnyridge Road at about 1:32 pm on Sunday, July 9.

Witnesses told police that a black, racing style motorcycle and a white Honda sport-style sedan were driving aggressively in the westbound lanes of Highway 403 and were the cause of the collision. Neither vehicle remained at the scene.

Police say the six-year-old passenger in one of the vehicles that rolled over was injured but the injuries were not life-threatening.

Police are continuing their investigation and ask that anyone with information or dash camera footage call OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
