The accident happened around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday and emergency services rushed to the scene.
It involved difficult terrain and the forces had to transport the woman and the boy to a road ambulance.
Seriously injured
In the evening, Region Norrbotten announces a damage report:
“The injured are a 35-year-old woman and a 4-year-old boy, from Västerbotten. Both patients were taken to the emergency room at Sunderby Hospital with serious injuries,” the region writes on its website.
The woman has been moved to the intensive care unit, while the boy is being cared for in the intensive care unit.
The police are investigating the accident
According to the police officer on duty, Fredrik Nilsson, the matter is being investigated. It is supposed to be a 65-year-old man who drove the scooter.
