The “chikha” and its Aïta art are part of the heritage jewel of Morocco. The artistic couple Zahoua Raji and Ayoub Layoussifi drew from their Moroccan roots to bring to life this art of dance and song, sometimes considered by some as sulfurous. After the Baobab Prize at the London Film Film Festival, their film was also selected in competition in the 2025 edition of Clermont-Ferrand, the biggest short film festival in the world.
