It was not easy, when my decision to leave was made. The people I met are special. The friendships I have made will last a lifetime. And the stories I was allowed to tell made me proud. I’m very excited to see what’s next. I wish everyone the best for the rest of the season filming.

Rosende’s departure became known shortly after his colleague Kara Kilmer’s Chicago Fire exit. The fan favorite appeared in four seasons of the series and will make its final appearance in the first episode of season 12.
