Chery Tiggo 9 Pro, which will be officially introduced in China next month, may be the most ambitious model of its brand so far.
In the last days of 2022, which we left behind, there are only a few days left for Chery’s official entry to the market, which made its first announcements regarding its return to Turkey. The product range, which is expected to start the sales process as of April-May, will first include the Tiggo 7 and 8 Pro, as well as the Omoda 5. Chery, who wants to be assertive with price / performance dynamics in the range that will consist of SUVs, promises an experience close to premium dynamics, especially with the 8 Pro. Chery Tiggo 9 Pro, which is expected to be on the podium in China next month, is getting ready to sit at the top of the whole family. The model, whose first official details were shared recently, may be the most ambitious Chery model ever produced.

The Tiggo 9 Pro, which has been announced to be preferred over two different passenger capacities, 5 and 7 people, draws attention with its 4,820 millimeters length and 2,820 millimeters wheelbase. In parallel with these dimensions, the cockpit of the SUV model, which promises a very generous living space, will be the highest level of all time for Chery. On the console, where the 12.3-inch driver and the multimedia panel of the same size make itself felt dominantly, wood-like coating, metal materials and ambient lighting promise a pleasant combination. In the Tiggo 9 Pro, unlike all other versions of the family, the gear selector is positioned behind the steering wheel, as in Mercedes.

Tiggo 9 Pro, which is expected to be offered for sale only with a 2.0-liter turbo gasoline engine under its hood for now, will have 261 horsepower and 390 Nm torque with this newly developed machine. With this engine, which is combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard, the maximum speed that the model can reach is 205 km/h, while the average consumption data is reflected in the technical table as 7.7 liters. Chery’s rechargeable hybrid engine, which enables 75 kilometers of electric driving, is also expected to be transferred here in the coming period.
